What this covers
This policy describes how Pomodora("we", "our", "us") collects and handles personal information when you visit our website or interact with our trattoria on College Street. We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
What we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Contact details you provide voluntarily (name, email, phone) when you enquire about reservations, private events, or catering
- Payment information processed by our point-of-sale provider. We do not store card numbers or sensitive payment data
- Aggregated, anonymous website analytics: pages visited, device type, and referral source
How we use it
We use the information you provide to respond to your enquiry, fulfil and confirm reservations, and coordinate private-event arrangements. We will send you updates only if you have opted in to receive them, in accordance with CASL. We never sell personal information to third parties.
Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with the service providers required to operate the restaurant: our point-of-sale provider for payment processing, and our email platform for reservation confirmations and opted-in communications. These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may not use your data for their own purposes.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections if it is inaccurate, and ask for it to be deleted. To exercise any of these rights, email us at ciao@pomodora.ca and we will respond within thirty days.
